FAQs
-
Yes, dust can get everywhere, but I use air scrubbers with HEPA filters to exhaust demolition dust. I also hang plastic over door ways and personal belongings as well as cover your floors with construction paper/cardboard, tarps and drop clothes.
-
This always depends if the floors are being tiled in the remodel. Toilets are removed during the demolition process. Either a new toilet or previous toilet is reinstalled after grouting. If the vanity is staying, then the sink will be available.
-
Yes. Although I am a solo installer, I will occasionally hire a setter and/or helper if the job is large or requires a deadline.
-
Each tile installation is different and unique and really depends on the style of tile you’ve chosen and the complexity of layout and the space where tile is installed. I focus more on providing an installation both you and I will be proud of.
-
I love dogs and cats, reptiles too. I only ask that you keep them away from freshly set tile floors as stepping on freshly set tile can cause them to sink, causing unwanted lippage during the curing process.
-
It is always a good idea to seal grout and natural stone, however, many modern grouts have sealer added-in during the manufacturing process.
-
Typically, no. But I will give you advice which will assist you in your search. If you need help deciding on the style, color, sizes and patterns, it’s recommended you hire an interior designer.
