The client chose large format tile for all three spaces. The master bedroom needed a custom shower pan and included an oversize mitered niche with a second small shelf near the top. Solid surface shelves were installed throughout the home in each niche. In order for the shower pan to be tiled the large format was cut in an envelope shape. The second shower had a custom terrazo shower pan preinstalled then tile to ceiling was installed. It also had a long vertical custom niche that included four shelves and glass mosaic as decorative backing. The tub surround included a tiled ceiling and two niches, one on each side wall. The trim was installed small side out to minimize the trim details in all three showers. Vein matching was necessary to help minimize grout lines throughout the home.
